Aurora followed suit and dropped her armor and guns off. She glanced at her clothes and smiled; she felt lucky she didn't have to change into something completely different. Once she was set, she went out to the car, giving small nods and smiles to the men she just fought against. She jogged over to the car and smiled when she found Mark there. "Thanks for a fun time." She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She laid her head on his chest and sighed contently. "Now what?" She asked softly.

He embraced her back, bringing his arms around her shoulder. He lay a soft kiss in her hair, whispering..."We can do anything you want." He gently said, as he took a deep breath of her hair. "We could go somewhere quiet...somewhere nice and alone, and I could show the meaning of pleasure, my princess." He said with a little chuckle. "Or we could go and do something boring...like go buy a puppy." He pulled back, and watched her eyes. Waiting for her reaction.

Aurora's eyes went slightly wide when he mentioned the puppy. A grin spread across her face and she seemed to squeal with delight like a little child. "Mark! You don't have to!" She laughed and looked up at him, her eyes sparkling. Her eyes narrowed slightly and she seemed to smirk, "And where would we go to be alone?" She asked softly, then softly laid her head facing his neck. Her arms gently moved up and down his back; lightly caressing him through the few layers of clothes. She lightly placed a kiss on his neck just below his ear, then lightly nuzzled his neck.

"Well...up the mountains...where even the sheep do not go. We can go watch the sunset...perticulary pretty here, because of the impecable mountains and woods. But the best part of it all, would be you accompanying me." He said, as he lay a light kiss on her neck, bringing his hand slightly up to brush his fingers through her hair. "Or...we can go buy the pup, and bring him to a walk with us..." he offered with another soft kiss. I know the place to get one. It is isn't a pet shop, it is a farmer who sells his army of little pups. You will have the, possibility to choose." He said, kissing her cheek.

Aurora seemed to pout slightly. She pulled back from him and looked up, "Maybe we can see the sunset another time... So I guess we can go to the farm to pick up a puppy." She smiled and ran her hand through his hair; ruffing it up slightly. With that, Aurora turned in his arms, then walked the very short distance to the passenger side, then climbed in. "Wait... how will we get the puppy back to the states?" She asked, her head still poking out from the open door, a small frown pulled her lips down.

"Alright...a puppy." He had a flash about his allergies. Oh well...darn it. He would live. "Let me handle that, I can get anything done, remember?" He said with a wink. He entered the drivers seat, and closed the door. He started the engin, and lay his hand on the item container on the side. He drove fast and dangerous, as usuall. He drove up the mountains, seemingly nowhere civilized. He turned on a dirt road, the type of road that made his beauty sports car -honor- the forsaken road. He drove on for 10 minutes. They finally reached it, one of the typicall Swiss wooden houses with a farm. But, even before they could get out, an army of dogs came at them. Followed by a old, slow man. He was walking with a short walking stick. Mark opened the door and walked out of the car, an act of courage because of the dogs. Mark ignored the dogs, and made his way to the old man. He greeted him, and the man answered with a strong Swiss accent. "Hello mein guter man. It is good to see you again." He said, as he waved with his stick. Mark answered him "Hello, it has been a while indeed, the lady wants a dog. You still are selling them, right?" As he was assaulted by a dog, almost knocking him over. Greater Swiss mountaind dogs...some even had the barrel of alchool on their neck.

Aurora watched as the dogs came running out and her eyes got wide. They... we... gorgeous. She laughed as the puppies jumped on Mark, biting at his pants trying to get his attention. Aurora opened the door and climbed out. She gently shut the door and slowly made her way towards Mark. Once near him, she crouched down and pet one of the older dogs. The puppies, seeing someone other than themselves got attention, turned immediately. Aurora lightly ruffed the puppies fur on as many as she could. One came up and knocked her down. Aurora screamed with laughing as she covered her face to prevent herself from being licked. After a few moments, Aurora was able to clear herself of the puppies and quickly stood back up. her eyes were dancing with happiness. Finally, she leaned down and picked up one of the smaller puppies; a runt of the litter. She held him to her chest and lightly cuddled with it as she looked at Mark to the old man. "My apologies... hello." She finally greeted to the older male.

"I think she already picked the one she wants." The man said, rubbing his long gray beard with his hand. Smiling under his rough moustache. "That will cost 20,000 franks." The man said to Mark, as Mark put his hand around the old mans back and started walking away. "We are going to do some man talk, Aurora. We will be back." As they marched into the house, leaving Aurora and the 40 dogs with her. All around her, some just sat and watched, as the younger ones came closer wanting to be petted. Others forced their attention by rubbing their nose and licking Aurora.
"Common guys, this time we get him down." The man said, in his commando gear and charging his pistol and putting it in it's sheath. "Theres over 50 million pounds on his head. Don't mess the head, or the client won't pay. Usual rules, smoke grenades allowed, explosives are not unless ordered, lock and load boys." He continued as he brought his AAR-Ares automatic rifle up. "The usual plan boys. We never failed a client yet, and we won't fail on this simple civilian. Finish gearing up! ETA 4 minutes!" The other 10 men all had their gear, they looked fat from the amount of stuff they had.
In th distance, two Helicopter could be heard. Booming their way to the house. The dogs began to bark, switchig from heir merry mood to a more defensive stance. The older dogs ran for their master.
"ETA 1 minute! Attach the ropes and prepare to jump. The heli will give us some covering fire if needed!" The commander yelled. As the helicopter door opened, and he jumped out, on the other side of the house of where Aurora was. 10 men, heavily armed, began to yell orders, as they quickly covered the area, ducking under the windows. One saw Aurora, pointed his gun at her, and scream "GET ON THE f*ckING GROUND! NOW!" The dogs ran away, fearing the men with guns. Leaving Aurora alone in the ruffled grass, and helicopter noise...

Aurora watched as the helicopters landed. She stayed in place, confused as to what she should do. She wanted to run towards the house, but at the same time wanted to run away, like the dogs. A decision was made for her. She dropped to the ground, then turned her head enough to watch what was going on at the house. At that moment, panic began to grip her. Mark...!! Her mind screamed as she was forced to lay there and do nothing.

The man walked over to her, his gun pointed at her, he grabbed her by the arm, bringing her closer to the heli. He began to yell. "I GOT ON-" Then he was cut off, simply falling down on the floor. His throat bleeding, a dagger stuck in his vocal cords. He was not dead, but he was gurgling for the last few seconds of what life he had left. His soul...left his eyes.
Mark ran to Aurora, taking her in his arms and grabbing the rifle of the corpse. He began sprinted to the car, holding Aurora's arm tightly. They began yelling, some ran after them, some began firing their metalic bullets at them. Mark ran for the vehicle. He was not far. He told Aurora to get in, and Mark began firing a volley of deadly fire. Knocking down two men out of 10, he counted, he entered the driving seat of the car. Starting the engin, opening the window, and pointing his gun out. He made the car go reverse, pressing the accelerator. He fired randomly at the 7 pursuers. They were begining to cord their way back up in their heli's. Mark turned the car around, and sped to the highway. The helicopters would catch up, but not yet. Mark kept increasing his speed, going over the 200km/h. He buckled his belt, and buckling Aurora's. Poor thing. Didn't think they would get me, us, so fast. Mark drove on at dramatic speed, but the helicopters still began catching up. Luckily for Mark, he was reaching the city, and the helicopters withdrew. Mark made a sigh, thanking god. He looked over to Aurora. "Im sorry..." He began to say, as he drove to the inn they stayed at. The good thing about it, is that the inn was unofficiale, no one could know. If they had stayed in the hotel, that would have been another story. He stopped in the small earth parking lot of the inn, he leaned back into his chair, and watched Aurora. "Hey, you alright?" He asked in a whisper. What a dumb question. He did not touch her, he did not want to startle her in her thoughts. He waited...telling her it was all okay now, it was just a memory now.

Aurora sat there, in the passenger seat, shocked. What had just happened? She glanced down at her shirt and saw the blood from the man sprinkled on it. She didn't freak out; but it seemed to confirm what had happened. After the bar being attacked a few weeks ago, this had shocked her, yes, but not to the extent of wanting to leave. "I... I'm fine." She finally stated, then looked at Mark. Confusion swept across her face, then she looked back at her shirt. "I... can't go in there like this..." She frowned, her voice still having an undertone of shock. She looked back at Mark and sighed. She leaned over and wrapped her arms around him.

Mark gave her a long and loving hug Aurora needed. His suit was blooded, but that hardly mattered. "It's all okay." He whispered into her ear. He took of his overcoat, revealing his bloody shirt. His blood? Or someone elses? Mark didn't show it, he never winced, he never thought of the pain. He covered Aurora with it, keeping her in the secure hug. "We will take the back door, and go to our room. We can decide what happens next there..." Mark continued in a quiet voice. He opened her side of the car, slightering his way out still hugging Aurora tightly. Keeping a hand on her back to reassure her, he walked around the inn, and walked up the wooden stairs to their inviting room. He kicked his shoes off, and kneeled down and removed Aurora's. He sat on a small couch next to her, brushing his hand up and down her back. "Is there anything you want? A shower? A talk?" He offered, as he lay her head on his shoulder. He did not know how to handle Aurora right now...That troubled him, greatly.

Aurora sat up off his shoulder. Her eyes glanced of him and she gasped, "Oh my God, are you ok?" She asked. She looked at him then lightly caressed his cheek. Once more, she glanced down at her shirt, shrugged his overcoat off and immediately went to her suitcase. She moved her clothes around and pulled out a new shirt. She looked over at him, then gasped again, "That man.. Is he ok? The dogs?" She asked, now worried. She pulled her shirt off, tossed it to the side and put the new one back on. She got back up, walked over to him, then started to get his shirt off to inspect him. "So, this is your job then?" She asked. She didn't sound upset, didn't sound scare, but curious. Her eyes looked into his; she wasn't mad he didn't tell her sooner, but worried about how she found out. She got to the last button and pushed his shirt off his broad shoulders.

"The old shepard is fine, they want nothing of him...neither of the dogs. If they killed them, it would sadden me, but it would also mean these guys are not pro's. Simply brutal well geared idiots." Mark said, as he looked to her, a serious look on his face, but a small merry smile that because Aurora was okay. She got his shirt, revealing the reddened skin from the spilled blood, and a bleeding bullet wound. It was in his middle right torso. Blood was slowly sliding out of the flesh wound. "Don't worry Aurora, il clean it up and remove the bullet." He said, as he put two of his fingers ans squeezed out some gore from his wound. "damn...im going to need pincers or something." He mumbled to himself, wincing for the first time since he was in the car. "Do you want a proper explanation of my work? Seems unfair now not to tell it." Mark asked seriously. Before it made him go awkward, but not Aurora was almost killed. Guilt went over secrets.

Aurora put her hand on his shoulder and kept him down. "Do as you wish, but let me do it." She muttered. "You have tweezers or anything?" She asked, then went to the bathroom. The sound of her opening drawers and moving things around greeted his ears. She eventually came back with tweezers and plenty of kleenex. She looked at the bullet wound and flashes from her childhood came back. She closed her eyes and shook her head. "Yes, tell me about your work." She stated and waited for his explanation. She knelt in front of him and leaned over his legs; she was eye-level with the wound. Slowly, as he explained, she put the tweezers in the wound, then quickly pulled it out. She grabbed the kleenex, put it against the wound and applied pressure. She quickly got up and looked at him. "My oldest brother was in a gang... he would come home with many wounds... but one time... he didn't quite make it to the house... He died in the front yard..." She explained and removed the kleenex to check it. She grabbed his hand and put it over hers so he could keep the pressure. Aurora disappeared back into the bathroom and returned with a bottle of alcohol, a warm wet cloth, a dry one and another towel.

"My work consist of doing a the dirty job of goverments that want to get rid of the different kinds of people. They require evidence to put them in prison. And even then, it would only be for years. They hire me, to take care of the drug lords, racketeers, basiclly anyone who break the law. I am a hitman, in short." He winced when she removed the bullet from his wound. "Plus, they use me for some scientific tests. Increasing my...physical things." He said, not wanting to use the term robotic or cybernetic. "Im sorry for your brother..." He said confidently. "Listen...do you want to go back home? It is not safe with me, it never will." He said, lowering his gaze down to his chest, slightly saddened by the situation. When she left for the bathroom, he thought she had gone, for good. Then he saw her with the towel and the dreaded alcohol. He clasped his teeth together. "I work for goverments of different countries. Some send me on assignments, then want to eliminate me. Plus, they hire bounty hunters, so I can't tell what country they are from. I never thought they would come to Switzerland. I have good news thought, the Russian mob protects me. So we will be very safe in Russia." He continued calmly. "You know how to use a gun? If it makes you feel safer I can give you one."

Aurora moved his hand and kleenex then put the warm, wet towel on the wound. She glanced up at him briefly, then returned to her work. "Do you remember... what you told me a few days ago, at The View?" She asked rhetorically. She looked back up at him, " 'Do you believe in love at first sight?' " She quoted him. She pulled the dry cloth out and opened the alcohol. She poured some onto the cloth, then closed it up. She let the quote, the cliche even, sink in. She moved up to be level with his face. "And my reply was 'I believe it can happen'... I can't leave the one I love willingly... no matter what." She stated, then pressed her lips against his firmly as her hand pressed the alcohol-baring cloth to the wound. Aurora deepened the kiss, hoping to get his mind off the pain; showing him she was in for the long run. She pulled back from the kiss and removed her hand as her free hand reached up and caressed his jawbone. "I just can't leave..."She stated strongly. "...unless you want me to..." She added softly.

"With all my mind, I want you safe back in the USA, but with all my heart I want to stay by your side..." Mark replied honestly. He looked down on his wound, it had stopped bleeding, and the alcohol stinged him. The wound was deep, and the burn and the strong disinfectant just made it explode. But was controlling it, no way would he show pain in front of Aurora. He had to be her prince, the invicinble prince that will defend her from incomming monsters. He leaned back into the couch, his buffed chest revealed. He looked at her with his cyan eyes, no way was he crazy enough to leave her. He would be killing himself, every second away from her he would feel a part of his life fall off and crumble to dust. Aurora, was his greatest weakness, but more importantly, his greatest strenght. "I quit job...and stay with you." He stated, looking down at his open wound, not wanting to crack it open by standing up. "Listen...this is so not romantic. But I need bandages, you will find it in the equipement back I brought along. Don't be startled, it containts plenty of guns. Then I promise, I will be as romantic, more then I have ever been.." He promised to her, with a wink and that smile he made. The "I am glad to have found you, my love." smile.

As he winked, Aurora leaned in once more and softly pecked his lips. She then moved back and went to the bags he brought up. "Where will we live?" She asked softly as she rummaged through the bag. As he said, there were plenty of guns; but she didn't freak out. She carefully pulled out the kit and carried it to him. "And how will we still make an income? If I go back, I have enough money to support us for a while." She smiled and claimed her spot at his feet once more. She set the kit next to him and bend over his knees, once again level with his wound. Aurora opened the kit and pulled out some antibacterial spray, gauze and medical tap. Holding the gauze, she grabbed the spray and applied it to the cotton. She then laid the piece over the wound. With her free hand, she adjusted herself so she could tear the tape. Once the piece was long enough, she tore it, then stretched that piece on top. "If you want to prevent yourself from scarring... I'm sure you already know this, but... get Vitamin E*, crack it open and apply the liquid vitamin to the wound. It'll heal up nicely." She commented as she looked up at him. After a few moments, she finished dressing the wound and stood up. "Anything I can get you? I don't want you moving for some time, so no protesting." She stated strongly.
