A boat system, all focused around weight.
Everything would be based on 3 levels, level 1 being weaker then level 3.
Example, a canon level 1 would be weaker, but lighter. A canon level 3 would be the strongest canons around, but the heaviest.
Cargo would be the same, but add money to it.
50kg of level 1 cargo would give x $ Fruits, food in general,
50Kg of level 2 cargo would give 2x $ Wood, tools, materials,
50Kg of level 3 cargo would give 4x $ Gold, jewels, treasures, slaves?
Now the boat stats, I think boats should depend entirely on HP, and not defense. And massive HP, just for the heck of it. (Also to show that boats can take more hits then humans)
Attack would be based on canon numbers and type.
No defense
Speed: Speed would be determined via the size of the boat, and the base weight of the boat. Also, the weight it holds. A empty merchant ship will go faster then a full merchant ship.
A small boat would have 1000 HP, a medium boat 3000HP, and a warship a nice 7500 HP
Small boats would have the advantage of speed, medium their cargo hold, and warships, well attack.
Now to sell the cargo, there would be different trade spots. Again, 3 levels. All starting from the harbour in our forums, the level 1 trade spot would give x extra money, but would take less time to get to. Trade spot 2 would give 2x extra money, but takes normal time to get to it. Trade spot 3 would get an extra 4x money.
That's it for now.

Yeah sure! Suggest suggest suggest!
But yeah, we should keep it simple thought, I didn't want to start expanding too much on the idea. Not because im not interested, but because I didn't want to make it complicated.
