Aurora looked Mark over and winked. She walked over to him, caressed his cheek and pecked his lips. "You really are a prince." She complimented. "Right. Now we'll walk down the aisle to view the horses. It's best to let the horse choose you, then it'll be easier for you to control and ride the horse." She smiled. Aurora turned and began to walk down the aisle; 5 horses on each side. The 10 horses ranged from pure-white to spotted black and white.

"The horse, choose me...?" Mark asked as he entered the room.
He looked at the horses, an spotted his horse, a clear white horse. His nose was black, with some spos of black around the hooves. But the horse was proud one, it would not surprise Mark if the horse wouldn't choose him.
"I do hope the color of the horse that chooses me matches my clothes.." Mark said jokingly.

"Don't doubt yourself and you can get whichever horse you like. They say animals can sense things like that." She advised. She walked down a bit farther then stopped at what appeared to be a pure black horse. She smiled as she stepped towards the horse adn the horse stepped near her. The body of the horse, from about mid-back to his hindquarters was white with black spots. his face had a small patch of white. The rest of the horse was, indeed, black. "Aren't you a beauty..." She muttered softly. The horse snorted, as if he agreed with her and stuck his head over the gate holding him in. Aurora lightly reached up and scratched him; running her hand lightly from his nose to about his eyes. She smiled and looked over at Mark. The horse he picked out kicked at the ground a few times; but never took his eyes off him. "Go to the gate and see he'll let you pet him." As if reading Aurora's mind, the white horse did walk towards the gate and gazed down at Mark. Aurora turned back to her horse. "What's your name, beauty?" She asked herself as she kept scratching him. Her eyes found the tag, 'Adrian'. "Adrian..." She smiled, opened the stall door and walked in. "Once you get your horse comfortable with you, let me know and I'll straddle him up for you." She called softly to Mark as she worked to get Adrian set.

Mark walked to the horse, confident... yet uncomfortable. He never touched one, let alone ride it. He stood in front of the horse, he looked at the sign on the gate. "Valkiry" was written on it. He quietly said the horses name, and he moves his hand to the horses nose so it could smell him. He then slowly moved his hand up to it's ear and down the neck. "This really is not so bad..." Mark stated, as he looked into the beast's eyes.
"I think I found the horse I will ride...."

Aurora finished setting her horse up. She lightly put her hand on the horse's nose, "Hold on, friend. He needs help." She murmured to the horse. Adrian seemed to nod, as though he really understood what was going on. Aurora left his stall and went into the stall Mark was in. She smiled as the horse was calm around Mark. "You doing ok?" She asked Mark as she grabbed the saddle and reins. She didn't wait for a response as she saddled the horse up. She gently placed everything, tightening it to keep it secure. She walked back to Mark, holding the reins out for him. "Here. Follow me to mine, then we'll get outside for the basics." She smiled. She walked back out of the stall to Adrian. She opened the stall, grabbed the reins and walked him out of the stable; going out a door on the opposite side. She stood a few feet back from the stable, gently petting Adrian. "If you're scared, don't be. They'll sense it and become uncomfortable with you.

"I thought you knew princes were fearless, Aurora..." Mark said, as he took the reigns of his horse and led it outside. He walked proudly, even if he knew he would fall off, or he would anger the horse or just basicly do something that would ruin his image to Aurora.... Something he did not want.

Aurora smiled, "Of course I know they're fearless. You should be fearless." She smiled. "Right, basics. First and foremost, how to mount the horse. The side your on, you want to put your foot into that stirrup... Like... Left side, put your left foot into the stirrup... you're going to step down and swing your right leg over, and vise-versa." She directed. She pulled Adrian in front of him. "Like this." She brought her left foot up, put it in the left-side stirrup, pulled herself up and swung her right leg over; sliding her right foot into the stirrup. She held the horn of the saddle and looked at Mark, then jumped off. She walked to him, "Use the horn to help steady yourself and to pull yourself up." She added, then pointed the the horn on the saddle.

Mark mounted up, this was not so bad after all. "A man has to be fearless to be with you in bed. My arms are still....red" He said as he brought his leg over the horse. He took the reigns, and looked at Aurora.
"Well, what now...?"

Aurora remounted Adrian and took the reins. "Next would be 'steering'. Simple... you want to go right, you lightly pull the rein to the right and same for the left. To go, lightly apply pressure to the horses side with your heels." She did so and Adrian walked forward. "To stop, lightly pull the reins back." She did so and he stopped. "To make him go faster than a trot, either flick the reins or kick his sides again." She kicked his sides once to get him to trot, then flicked her wrists, the reins lightly telling him to go. He trotted faster. She kicked his sides and he began to gallop. She kicked him harder once more and he broke into a run. After a few seconds, she turned him to the right and came back to Mark. "You try. After, we'll go for a small ride." She smiled.

Mark pressed his legs on the horse, making it move....too quickly. The horse began a gallop and Mark wasn't ready for it. He fell down the horse, dust flying up...
"No...This is not a good start..." He stood up, and mounted the horse again. "Alright Valkiry, Let's try this again..." Mark pressed his legs again, this time more gently, and the horse moved, slowly. He pull on the right reign, making the horse turn, content, he tried to make the horse trot. He kicked the horses flank again, increasing the horse's speed. Mark was not used to him jumping up and down the horse, it was very uncomfortable. He decided to gallop, he snapped the reins of his horse, and it broke into a run. Mark found it easier to follow the motion of the horse, happy, he turned, and stopped at Aurora...
"I think I am getting the hang of this...lead the way, princess..."

Aurora had a beaming smile once he fell off. "No one gets by without falling off their horse the first time. We'll start out slow then as we ride we'll pick up speed." She smiled. She lightly nudged her heels into Adrian and he back to trot. She lead the to the corral. Once they cleared the corral, she nudged Adrian into a small gallop. She glanced behind her to look at Mark.

Mark's horse walked behind Aurora's, slowly. He tapped the horses belly, and his it began to gallop. Right behind Aurora, he wanted to show off, like any macho man.
"We can go at any speed you wish, Aurora. Il manage." Mark stated as he followed her.

Aurora glanced back at Mark with a small smirk, "If I do that, then you might fall off." She told him. She was being truthful. "How about you go any speed then I'll follow it." She suggested. She moved to the right, encouraging Mark to move ahead for her to follow. she slowed down just enough to be by his side. "Unless... you want to race to the tree over there." She pointed to a tall, old, lightening struck tree. She laughed, "No, just kidding. Maybe another time... if there is another time." She added on under her breath, but beamed at him anyways.

Mark smiled, and quickly said "1,2,3!!!" As he sent his horse into a full gallop. He quickly reached the tree, wether he was there first or second it did not matter. What did matter, is that his horse stopped so suddenly, that Mark flew off from his horse, and crashed into the tree head first. The horse stepped back, it would be laughing if it could.
Mark was buzzed, his face in the dirt. He tried to get up, only to crash down again. He sat, leaning against the tree. "Well.... I will think twice before racing on a horse... Il stick to car racing I think... At least when one crashes, one has the decency to be knocked out and wake up a week later in hospital, not feeling in pain..." He slowly stated.
"You continue on the trail, il catch up..." Mark said as he took his helmet off.

Aurora laughed when he took off, then gasped when he ran into the tree. She jabbed her heels into Adrian's side. He took off into a full sprint. Before he stopped, Aurora jumped off Adrian and ran towards Mark. She knelt next to him and pulled her helmet off; her hair falling onto her shoulders. "Are you ok?" She asked. She helped him move to sit against the tree, then chuckled softly when he commented about racing. She sat next to him and ran her fingers through his hair. "We can rest..." She stated softly and smiled. She looked lovingly into his eyes and laughed softly.

"Yeah...yeah...im fine..." Mark said as he rubbed his head with a hand. "Well we came to do horseback riding, not chatting and resting against a tree..."
He stood up, slowly, using the tree to balance himself. "Let's continue....Slowly...But you can go and have your fun, il catch up to you when I feel a little less dizzy.."

"I'm not going anywhere until you're better. Anything could happen within the few moments I get ahead or go out to ride. If you don't want to ride, we can go back. It won't bother me any." She stated strongly. Aurora stood up next to him and leaned against the tree. "You really shouldn't be walking... You should be sitting down." She frowned slightly and firmly crossed her arms over her chest; signaling her mind was set.

Mark mounted his horse. "Don't worry, I can handle a bruise or two." He confidently replied. "Well are you going to ride..? I did call my friend and told him we would make two horses ride out." He smiled, and slowly made his horse move. He waited for Aurora. "Well princess, show prince what you can do...." He looked backwards, letting the horse follow the trail by itself.

Aurora shook her head, held her hair up and put the helmet back on. Aurora walked over to Adrian, hoisted herself back onto the saddle and spun in a small circle. She smiled, kicked her heels into his side and galloped ahead of Mark; her legs straight as she was lifted off the saddle slightly. Once she was ahead of him, she pulled the reins back, stopped Adrian and had him go on his hind legs. Adrian turned around 360*, then went back on all fours. As she waited for Mark to catch up, she ran horizontal to Mark, performing small tricks. Once she finished the last trick, she walked Adrian to the trail and lightly stroked his mane as she shook his head; his front hoof stomping the ground.

"Impressive. It seems you have done some riding.." Mark said, smiling happily. The sun reflected in his eyes, making them glow light cyan. He did not try anything fancy again... he was content with simply trotting.
"Maybe next time, I might have the honor of you teaching me those tricks.." He looked around the forest. His friends land was definitely beautifull. He heard a river in the distance. "Ah, there is a river not far from here.." He told Aurora, or to himself. Since she was off riding her horse, galloping and running. And he was behind...trotting...
