Aurora trotted back to Mark with a smile. "Yeah, I heard the river back there as well. We can go, I think I might've worn Adrian out some." She chuckled, then patted his neck, rubbing his mane slightly. "He's a good horse... And I grew up on a farm... Had plenty of training with all types of animals." She smiled. Her eyes stared out across the field as they trotted on. "I say... we get up to the river, find a small spot and rest for 10-15 minutes. Relax by the river." She called to Mark.

"Alright... I guess that is a good plan." Mark answered Aurora as he led his horse to the river. "Hey Valkiry, a nice river for you. Even thought you didn't get to do as much as Adrian...." He said to the horse...
"Do you know Aurora, I am beginning to speak to these horses... That cannot be a good sign.." He laughed. He felt a little better, and increased his horse's speed.
"We might be able to do a race...where there are no trees"

Aurora smiled as they stopped at the river. She jumped off, pulled Adrian to the creek, then sat on a fallen tree. "It's normal to talk to them. I talked to all the animals at home when we had them. They seemed to cooperate better with you." She smiled slightly, put her elbows on her knees, and placed her chin in her hands. "He reminds me of a horse I had..." She muttered, her voice becoming slightly distant.

"A horse you had...?" Mark said, a slight tone of unhappiness in it. His facial expression changed....he did not like to see Aurora like this, she was sad. He really didn't like that. He dismounted and walked to her, sitting right next to her.
"Tell me about this horse..." He asked her, bringing a arm around her back to hold her against him.

Aurora leaned into Mark and smiled softly. "We raised lots of animals... horses, cows, chickens, goats, rabbits... All from birth to death. I took care of the horses, cows and goats." She laughed slightly. "My favorite were the horses... so majestic, easy to train, fun to handle. This horse I had, his name, well his registered name was BB Gun.... My brother named him when he was 4 or 5... but when I was with him, he went by Alexander. I trained him, I raised him... we had a bond. He was soo... amazing. He... just didn't like anyone else. He was an Appaloosa as well. Adrian looks almost exactly like him. I can do the same tricks as well." She smiled and looked at Mark. "Goats and cows... not exactly the best. It hurts to be rammed by a goat." She laughed and looked back out across the stream. "And I hated those chickens... they attacked me quite a few times." She added with another laugh. "Now I prefer my chicken dead and on my plate so I can eat." She nodded.

Mark listened to Aurora, he leaned on her shoulder. "I did not grow up on a farm, or anywhere near one..." He said quietly. "I lived in the city all my life, I did....other things..." He blinked his eyes serveral times. "I think we are late for the cocktail party, Aurora." He did a slight chuckle.
"I will have to make a phone call when we get back." He listened to the water run through the river, he saw a last glimps of his horse drinking in the river, and he closed his eyes.

Aurora glanced at Mark with a slight frown, "We can head back and go if you wish?" She offered. "I moved to the city when I turned 18... not by choice... my step-mom convinced my dad to kick me out..." She sighed softly, but smiled. "It was rough but I made it." She laughed softly, turned and pecked his cheek.

"We do not have to head back just yet....if we...miss the cocktail party, I had something else in mind, something more quiet and private." He said, as he inhaled deeply the air near Aurora's neck.
"I have not given my answers to the responses you gave me you see..."

Aurora closed her eyes when he inhaled near her neck. "And... what would you have in mind?" She asked, her voice becoming quiet. She shifted slightly and wrapped her arms around him; holding him against her. She lightly nuzzled her cheek against his shoulder.

"Well... we would have to get back to my house, and then it would be a surprise for you...." Mark said, as he gave her a light kiss of her lips, opening his cyan eyes.
"If you remember your answers, you might be able to guess, but keeping it a surprise might be more fun."

Aurora smiled softly and lightly brushed her lips back against his, "Surprises are nice. Whenever you want to leave will be fine with me." She added softly. She brought her hand up and combed her fingers through his hair.

Mark gave her a deep kiss, and pulled back shortly afterwards. He stood back up and mounted his horse. "Well...Let us ride some more, and then we can head back. Or we could head back, and go to the race tracks my friend has." He said, as he ordered his horse to a slow walk.

Aurora smiled, "Continuing our ride as a nice pace sounds wonderful. Maybe the tracks can be another time." She stated as she went to Adrian then mounted. "We'll go back to the trail and follow it around back to the stable, then?" She lightly kicked his sides to catch up with Mark and walked next to him.

As mark was ridding his horse, slightly increasing his speed, he spoke to Aurora "Yeah, maybe next time I will know the terrain layouts, and we can do a longer ride, without having to go back on our original tracks." He stopped near his crashing place, where his head hit the tree. He dismounted and took his helmet, put it back on, and remounted.
"Aurora, what do you think is my job...?"

Aurora thought back to the restaurant. Now it was her turn to be hesitant. "Well..." She began softly and looked at him. "I... remember what you said... you work for companies and it's a dirty job..." She repeated softly, then looked ahead. "We don't have to talk about it... I know it made you uncomfortable." She added, once again, softly.

"I will tell you once I think you are ready...is that okay with you? I mean... I don't want you to be wondering about it. You will find out soon enough."
They soon arrived at the stables. Mark led his horse back to it's parking space, removed it's saddle and straps. He went back to the small office, changed back into his costume. He folded his riders clothes, and put them near his boots and helmet.
"Now, what would you like to eat tonight?"

Aurora watched him ride off, then quickly galloped after him. She jumped off Adrian as she neared the stable, then lead him back to the stall. She took everything off him, then followed suit after Mark. When he asked her about dinner, she looked at him and blinked. "Well... I like seafood... if that helps... or... chicken sounds excellent right now." She smiled slightly as she reached behind her and lightly braided her hair.

"Chicken it is." Mark stated, as he walked to the car smiling. "You are the designated driver." He turned his head back to her, his eye giving a blink. "Unless you really want me to drive, then it would be my outmost pleasure."

Aurora smiled, "I'll drive. You drove here, I'll drive back. Do we need to stop anywhere, or is it a straight shot home?" She asked as they arrived at the car. She unlocked the doors and climbed in. "What is the plan for dinner?" She questioned as she inserted the key into ignition.

"My plan for dinner is a surprise, but I am sure you will like it." Mark said as he entered the car. He was quite happy he could surprise Aurora once more. He leaned his chair back slightly, and gave out a big sigh.
"That crash gave me the most unpleasant of head aches.' He giggled, and watched the nature around them.
"And, I do not think I can manage anything else today, so right back home please, unless you want something fancy like chinese or italian food."
