Sorry it's short... But i honestly have nothing else to say for this chapter. I'll start chapter 5 once I stop getting bored >.<
Chapter 4
It was only a few minutes drive back to Satinwood. As they pulled up, Celestine saw Jones, Canes and Eric outside. From the distance, Celestine could see Eric with his arms crossed over his chest as he tapped his foot against the sidewalk. She shook her head and looked at Zeben. Zeben glanced at her from the corner of his eye as he pulled into a parking space.
"About time you got back here, bitch." Eric snapped at her. Celestine looked at the jaw-clenched agents. She shut her door and advanced towards them.
"So, what do we have to do to settle this?" She asked Jones. He gave her a small look of relief. She smiled, "Don't worry; I'm not going to start yelling anytime soon." She assured.
"Alright, well... All that will be required is, if you two don't mind, a fight. The one who is the last one standing will need to come with us, and we'll get on our way." Jones explained.
Eric grinned, "That's exactly what I wanted to hear. Might as well give up now before your pretty face is damaged." He taunted Celestine.
"Where are we going to fight? Do you honestly want to do it in front of the building? Won't others come out here to see what's going on?" She asked, ignoring Eric.
"No, we'll keep it out here. No one else is around here." Canes tiredly stated. Celestine nodded, looked at Eric and left the side of the jeep.
"Just give up." Eric laughed as she walked up and cracked his knuckles.
"By the way you’re telling me to give up, I would have to take that as you're actually afraid to fight me." She stated softly as she tilted her head to the side to look at him. It seemed that hit a nerve. Eric's mouth twisted in a scowl and he cracked his neck.
"Let's get this shit over with, pretty-bitch."
"No need to get hasty, pretty-boy." She winked, then cracked her knuckles as well and stopped at the sidewalk. Eric began to walk towards her, then broke into a run. Celestine stood where she was and waited as he approached. Eric didn't slow down as he came upon her. He drew his fist back, and, with all his weight, threw a punch. Celestine quickly ducked around his fist, grabbed his arm, twisted it and threw him down. As she threw him down, she turned and kicked out; her foot connecting with his side. He gave a small shout of pain as he collided with the ground. That, however, didn't stop him. As he was on the ground, he turned and swung his leg out, attempting to knock Celestine down. When she evaded his attack, she took a few steps back and waited for him to get up. "For someone saying they can kick anyone’s ass, he's doing a fine job of letting someone kick his own ass." Celestine pointed out. Eric eagerly got up and cracked his neck again. Celestine blinked and watched as he ran at her again. "You never learn, do you?" She asked him.
"f*ck you, bitch." Eric snapped at her. When he was close enough, he threw another punch. Celestine easily danced out of the way again, swung around and let her foot collide with his gut. He doubled over. At that, Celeste got closer to him, grabbed his shoulder and kneed him in the stomach again. Even though Eric was still doubled over, he grabbed her leg and shoved her back. Celestine landed on her back hard; her head slamming into the concrete. Eric stood up, caught his breath and walked over to her. Celestine rolled out of the way as he went to slam his foot down where her stomach would've been. As an extra precaution, she rolled a little more then quickly got up. However, she got up a little too quickly and held the back of her head; the damage from the fall apparent. She pulled her hand around to her eyes and winced again; blood. Her eyes drifted from her hand to Eric.
"You're dead, motherf*cker..." She hissed at him.
"No. I--" Jones interrupted.
"Bring it on." Eric smirked.
"I'll be fine, Jones. I've had more damage than a simple wound like this." Celestine confirmed. With that, she went at Eric, and Eric ran back at her. When they met, Eric swung a right hook. Celestine blocked it with her left forearm, flipped her arm around his, then went for a left jab. Eric tilted his head to the side; her thumb knuckle grazing the side of his face slightly. Eric quickly grabbed her arm and went to throw her down, when Celestine twisted her arm in his and grabbed his wrist. Her arm muscle tensed as she held onto him from falling; that force enough to keep the momentum going. She spun him around and went to throw him down. She quickly released and pushed his arm into his shoulder to make him fall harder. As he fell, Celestine was close enough and slammed her foot into his torso. His head hit the pavement and he yelled out in pain. Celestine grinded her foot down into his torso and leaned down, "Give up yet?" She snapped at him; the pain in the back of her head becoming noticeable now. After he didn't answer, she put more pressure on his torso. His hands shot to her foot and he tried to knock her off him.
"Celestine, that’s enough!” Jones yelled at her. Her eyes narrowed slightly at his loud voice. “Let him up, you’ve made it.” He added on to her. Celestine shoved her foot down into Eric’s torso again, turned and walked away. Eric coughed slightly, rolled onto his side and spat out a small amount of blood. Zeben went over to Celestine.
“Let me see…” He muttered softly, stood behind her and gently moved her hair out of the way so he could possibly look at the wound.
“I’m fine… Just a small headache…”
“Yeah, well that fall you took was pretty hard. You could have a possible concussion. And that headache could be a sign of a concussion as well. We’re going to have them take a look at your head before we do anything else.” Zeben stated.
“I said I’m fine.”
“And I said they’re going to look at you. We don’t need you to have any brain damage. Just shut up and come on.” Zeben snapped at her. Celestine looked at him slightly taken aback, but followed his demands.
“She’s lucky she has a hard skull. No damage, but whatever skin is broken and bleeding.” The doctor told them as he looked away from the film.
“Thank you. Now, can we get back so I could go to sleep?” Celestine complained. Zeben laughed slightly.
“Oh boy, Jones and Canes are going to have a ball with you. We’re not going back, we have a plane to catch now. We need to get going…” He stated as he helped her off the examination table. Celestine and Zeben walked out of the ER, went down the hall and exited the hospital. As they walked down the drive to the parking lot, Zeben pulled his cell out. Celestine looked out at his jeep as he spoke softly and quickly into the device. As they got to his car, he hung up the phone, unlocked the doors and climbed in.
“So, where are we going now? Back to Satinwood?” Celestine asked.
“No, we’re going to catch our plane. We need to get you back to headquarters so you can get your physical done.” Zeben explained as he started the car.
“My physical? Why?” Celestine asked, skeptical. She was in perfect health and just had a small examine from the doctor. What else could they want?
“Yes. We need it on record; like in high school. They wanted a physical on file every year you were an athlete.” Zeben explained.
Celestine stayed quiet and sighed heavily; this is one argument she wouldn’t get out of.
