Once the handful of men were picked, the small party got together into Revenge. As the boat was lowered into the sea, Fletcher noticed a message on the side of the ship....a message from his dear Lyre. Thankfully, the other passengers on the small boat were occupied with either lowering the vessel or studying the other ship.
"Too late to turn back now" Fletcher thought to himself after reading the message.
Hopefully there is ONLY one person on the ship that can see through his magics. If that be the case, then if things start to go sour....an idea that Fletcher would like to avoid...then all he need do is incapacitate that wench....then his magic could be unhindered.
Fletcher looked upon his party once they hit the water, clearing his throat to say
"I want ye on yer toes. These Bloodbane can't be trusted. We may need their help since a big storm be approachin'. This 'ere ship can't take no more beatings. They may not 'ave alot of crew, but don't be underestimatin' their power. When I go see the Bloodbane Captain, I will only visit for 15 minutes, if I am not back by then....expect the worst. You know what to do."
A grave look upon his face, Fletcher met the eyes of all the passengers: Enouska, the barbarian, Derrid the gunsman, Glout the swordsman, Roger the theif, and Nigel the brute. Fletcher could feel Lyre's presence within the plank seats of Revenge...a calming feel. He ordered the men to start rowing.....rowing to the Bloodbanes. Fletcher looked down at his feet where a crate under a false floorboard lay hidden. A crate filled with explosives...a precautionary measure of course.

As the sea caressed the bottom of Captain Fletcher's boat, His first mat eagerly awaited him. She popped her eyes out of the ship's hull and watched her captain's favorite boat near Armal's. No one was killed as far as she could see.
She squinted her eyes and made out the shapes. She had seen thousand telescopes and easily mimicked their construction. Yes, Derrid and Glout were there, along with Roger and Nigel. Moving she made out also, Enouska. That wench. Why was she here? And the Stowaway? This was unexpected. But she trusted her captain, and believed that he had a plan to get the best possible outcome. Revenge would bring a plank of her and when I got here she would be able to rest a bit. One rope from the home ship was sufficient for communication, but not substance. And captain had not given her permission to feed on anything. So to conserve energy she curled up near the landing spot. The wood was soft there and no one would notice her if she grew too tired to maintain her flat shape in the wood. So she curled up and waited, waited for her captain.

"Bloodbane..." Klave liked the sound of these men. Bloodbabne pirates he repeated in his head with a smirk. He scanned the contents of the boat having settled into the smaller vessel. The men looked sturdy enough to hold their own, except for the one, Roger, unlike the others he seemed less of a fighter. Klave reasoned within himself that the captain would know why he was chosen. He glanced over at Enouska but before his attention settled, the captain continued speaking serving out orders. He would normally take exception to being ordered around howevet his in itself was an exception, the only exception he made....battle. He secretly hoped the captain would take longer than fifteen minutes. He flexed his shoulders with a smile as the captain finished up. Klave grunted his understanding of the Fletcher's orders and shoved the meager theif aside taking his spot to row.

"Well I think it's time to greet our guests." Armal walked over to the side of his ship and lowered a ladder for when Fletcher and his crewmen arrived.
Angie waited until Armal lowered the ladder before heading back to the captain's room and waited there.

The waves pounded into the side of Revenge as she and her passengers traveresed the unsettled waters between the two boats. Fletcher could see that the Bloodbanes have lowered a ladder for them and he directed his rowers to that spot. The boat was much bigger and in better shape than S.S. Lyre. Revenge hit the side of the Bloodbane ship as it swung around to meet the ladder. Fletcher grabbed hold of the rope and hoisted himself up, to be the first one.
The wind swept Fletcher's coat around as he climbed up. He swung his legs over as a sudden gust of wind blew his coat back, flowing in the wind with the rhythem of his beard.
"Hello, I be Dred T. Blackbird, Captain o' the S.S. Lyre, an' I believe we be havin' somethin' to discuss."

Klave was next behind the captain waiting only for the man to reach up about half way before grabbing unto the rope and starting up himself, despite the protests of one or two of the others in the boat. By the time the captain had made it over and into the ship, Klave was already half way up the side of the vessel. He glanced back down as he felt a tug on the rope as Nigel did the same. He only scowled and continued up until he too came aboard casting a fierce eye about the ship and its occupants.

The ocean shifted underneath the ship as the captain crawled on board. With every person, every bit of cargo, every scratch in a ship's hull, the sea acts upon that ship differently. The Captain's presence on board seemed to alert the sea of a grand change, for the waves began to beat upon the ship's hull.
Lyre was so relieved to hear her captain's voice on deck. She moved upwards through the ship until she reached the deck. A small vibration beneath the captain's feet let him know she was on board. She longed for the plank of Khona on the boat Revenge. Though her captain is always a ship's priority. She felt the soggy feet of the stowaway on board as well. She would speak to him later, for now she just waited for the captain's signal to make herself known. She would not reveal herself to this stowaway unless given permission. Until she given the order, she would remain a ghost.

"Shall we go into my state room and talk." Armal held out his hand in the direction of his room. "The business that must be discussed also requires that you be there as well, Enouska." Armal looked over to Enouska, awaiting an answer.

Enouska was the final one to board the ship. Her eyes constantly shifted about the ship; boy, did she screw up this time.. Pirates... She shouldn't be here, at all. She stood back, away from the captains, her eyes glancing constantly over Angie. Once she was brought up, she looked at Armal. What was he playing at. "As you wish." She simply said, then stood next to the captains. She turned to Fletcher; later, she would have to notify him she will be withdrawing to take her own ship under her own care. It was time she become a captain once more... and the pirates would have war, once again.

Fletcher could see the witch standing next to the Bloodbane Captain....not what he expected her to look like, quite the attractive lass. That made her all the more dangerous though. Turning his attention back to the Captain, who seemed exceptionally young, and said in the same bellowing voice
"Me and me crew are honored that ye greet us with such hospitatlity. Such a thing be rarer than sea gems now a days."
With a great swept of his hand to his crew standing behind him, Fletcher continued
"I hope ye don't mind if me crew make themselves comfortable until we depart? A young Captain such as yerself certainly understands the importance of comfort."

"Not at all. Just as long as they don't do anything to offend my crew." Armal took a seat at his chair as Fletcher and Enouska settled into the room. "I told my crew not to do anything as well." He than took out a set of scrolls. "No I know you're not a pirate Captain Enouska but this bussiness concerns you just as much."

Enouska fought hard to keep herself from scoffing at his remark. "And what type of business would concern me?" She questioned, fighting hard not to add anything to offend anyone there. Her eyes turned hard and she glanced over Armal, then Angie, and finally back to Armal for a reply.

While the Captan Armal was occupied with Enouska, 1st mate Lyre again agitated the ground underneath her captain. She couldn't write any messages to him. The wood was different on this ship, and she had yet to have contact with any of HER wood. Though it was a little more urgent of a shake, It was all she could do. She needed orders. She couldn't just stay there.
The captain needed to contact her somehow, let her know what to do. If he didn't want her just popping up in front of his crew that was fine. She kind of didn't want to be seen by Enouska or the Stowaway anyway. She did however wonder why the young captain hadn't exposed Fletcher for who he was. Perhaps he was respectful and didn't like meddling in other people's affairs. Perhaps, they couldn't see through all of his illusions. Perhaps he was planning on blackmailing him. At any rate his secret was secure for the time being, and as long as that secret was safe, She would keep her identity a secret as well.
However, the captain should know that she needed to recharge a bit. She'd been away from her hull to long. That one plank in the Revenge would suffice, she just needed permission to get to it. If only he had a way to communicate with her. She needed some sort of signal, something telling her what to do. Should she stay on board or should she return to the Revenge? Should she reveal herself, should she stay hidden? Should she return to the S.S. Lyre or keep him company on Armal''s ship? She needed answers, and she was running out of time...

Noticing the immense amount of tension that filled the room, Fletcher got up and said
"I think we all could use a drink, any objections? No? Good!"
Fletcher walked over to the shelf full of fine wines and poured everyone a glass, his being the most full of course. Fletcher knew he needed Lyre to be a full power in case something were to go awry during their visit. While walking back to the table to sit down, Fletcher started to talk to the Bloodbane Captain, putting emphisis on some words in hopes of getting Lyre's attention.
"This is a fine ship YOU GOT here, masterfully crafted PLANKS. IN my experience, MY ships and ROWBOATs were specially designed by skilled craftsmen in the north. Where did you GO to get them THERE ships of yours made NOW?"
Fletcher's secret message was hard to uncover, even with people who understood his slight dialect he had from his fisherman roots. Lyre was no ordinary creature and Fletcher hoped that her attentiveness to language would unveil the secret of his words.

Calming, the wind blew across the ship. It gently caressed the furled sails, and blew the jolly roger softly, only hard enough to lengthen its cloth, yet it didn't whip with force. it just did its job. Let the world know of the captain's presence.
And so Lyre took her orders and did her job. quickly and silently she shot down the side of the ship and dove into the side of the Revenge. She searched the ship until she found them. Two planks of pure Khona wood. She stood on top of them and crumbled into pieces. The wood, recognizing her, released a small amount of white sap and snapped the pieces into the wood. it glowed a bit more and then stayed still. Then a small shoot came out of the ship and attached to the ship.
Now Lyre knew that Fletcher wanted her to stay a secret. She could have been exposed at his order, but she guessed that since he signaled her instead of calling her outright, she was meant to stay a ghost. Her questions answered and snuggled in the embrace of her own skin she piped a message to the captain. Beside his glass on the bar the wood formed. It read:
Message received. With the Revenge. wood in cabin and ship connected. Trace finger on wood for orders.
This is how it should be. Her ready and at full capacity. waiting for orders. She was as still as a sword in a holster. Calm as the breeze.

The wind blew across the open expanse of waters sending a spray of sea water unto his face. Klave grunted. His fingers were itching. Why the hell had the captain brought him here if he was only going to stand around? This other man's crew looked feeble and weak, he could probably cut them down one by one with only one swing of his axe. "Tch!" He glanced over the edge of the ship looking back to the Revenge. A thought sprung into his head. A thought which brought a smile to his face. His mind continued to churn while he gazed at the Revenge. He glanced around briefly eyeing the crew that the captain had brought with him. There might be a bit of trouble from one or two of them if he went about this the wrong way but maybe.... His attention turned to the cabin where the captains were. He couldn't be sure how long this would take. Captain T had given them fifteen minutes... the number rolled over in his head a bit as he checked the crew again, both Captain T's and Armal's. He seemed stronger than any of them physically, that would give him his edge. He turned to Roger. "One should stay with the boat incase cap needs a fast break." He whispered. " None of you lads are as strong as I and standing around here bores me." His eyes flashed. "Before I start cutting up crew hands, I'm returning to the boat." He didn't wait for a confirmation from Roger or any of the others infact. He reattached his axe to the strap on his back and began to scale back to the Revenge, an expectant smile hidden behind the stern face of a barbarian.

Roger looked at the barbarian with a puzzeled face. He has fought and won against men twice his size...but never against someone as big as this bonebag. Roger would have loved to test his metal but the Captain said that they gots ta be as good as daisies. Besides, he had to follow Glout's commands until the Captain returns.
The small man turned to Glout expectingly. Surely he would not allow the barbarian to sit in their only escape vehicle alone.

ooc: Enouska is with Fletcher and Armal.
"That will be explained in a moment." Armal told Enouska before turning back to Fletcher. "This parchment I hold here is a treaty that myself and some of the other pirate captains have come up with."

OCC: woops! thanks, i fixed it
"Straight to buisness eh?"
Fletcher said with a laugh, sitting down and taking a deep drink from his cup. After a few seconds of fumbling around in his coat looking for something, Fletcher continued
"Me Crew and I are meerly humble merchants of the sea, our buisness is our own. You would have to be much more persuasive than that to even capture me interest."

He looked down. The Revenge was but a few inches away. He hadn't stayed to hear the possible protests of the crew, he had a purpose in mind. He released the rope as his foot touched the wood in the Revenge. Klave smiled. Mission accomplished, at least so far. He looked back up to make sure none of the men were watching and just in case, at least to appease the possible churning minds of crew above, he sat down within range of the oars and unlatched his axe. This was both a precautionary method and a means of maintaining the illusion he had created. He would wait a few more minutes before executing his plan. He had to be quick, at least that much he was certain of.
